CreateBanner.com is a free service where you can design banners online without any special skills at all. You just fill out a few forms and create the banners you need to promote your web site, blog or discussion forum. The best part is that it's free :D

Yesterday CreateBanner.com updated their services with some new banner sizes after suggestions from their visitors in their blog at blog.createbanner.com. The new banner sizes they added are:

  • 250×300 – Big button 1
  • 300×250 – Big button 2
  • 180×180 – Square 1
  • 250×250 – Square 2
  • 300×300 – Square 3
  • 180×730 – Extra wide skyscraper 1
  • 250×730 – Extra wide skyscraper 2
  • 300×730 – Extra wide skyscraper 3

These new sizes are available to both VIP members and free users so anyone can try them out. You can of course also create other banner sizes to like the most common standard sizes 125×125, 468×60 and 120×600.

As a special promotion CreateBanner will give 10 users the lucky chance to get a VIP membership each for 24 hours. All you need to do is to sign up at www.createbanner.com/coupons/ using the coupon code UYT38. You need to hurry up a little bit since the coupon is only valid for 10 signups.

CreateBanner.com also got an affiliate program at Clickbank where you can earn some extra money promoting their VIP memberships. More about that can be found in their blog.

Xavier Media Banner Exchange

Do you got a forum or a blog and need some more visitors? Then you should check out this:

Xavier Banner Exchange is currently offering 5 000 banner impressions to everyone joining and you get an additional 10% of the credits anyone you refer earn! This means that you can get a lot of free advertising targeted to forums and blogs. One of the nice features is that the exchange is using 125×125 banners as standard which is the most common size for blogs. Most blogs are already pre-made with 125×125 spaces for ads so the exchange code is easy to fit into your current design.

If you have a blog you can write a review of the banner exchange and get an additional reward of 3 000 banner impressions just for writing the review.

The standard exchange ratio is 3:2 which means that for every 3 visitors clicking on the ads on your site you get 2 visitors to your site. But that's not all because they use sliding ratios which means that the higher click rate you have on your web site the better exchange ratio they'll give you next month.

By placing the exchange code at the top of your web site you increase the chances to get a higher exchange ratio.
