The WebWorld Community (including the forums for posting ads for free) have re-opened after having been closed several months because of too much spam. This time they have a spam filter installed which hopefully will reduce the number of evil spambots that register and pollute the forums with just spam.

Due to massive abuse and spam in our free blog service we have been forced to turn it off until we can find a solution to the spamming. Spam is unfortunately always a problem when you run a free service and it's just too bad that these jerk-offs can't stay away but instead just ruin for everyone else…

We've also added yet another rule to fight these abusers. If you register for an account you will have to make a post in the forum within 24 hours from registration. If you don't your account will be removed. This is because we've noticed that spammers tend to register accounts and then start spamming a few days up to 3 weeks later using that account.

We've updated the rules for this forum due to spam. We no longer allow links to .cn and .ru domain names due to the fact that 99.9% of the links to those domain names are spam and/or harmful for our visitors (viruses, malware, scams etc).

Due to a bug in phpBB we had to restore the database from the latest backup. Since the backup was a few hours old, some posts made from the time the backup was done up until we did the restore of the database have been lost. We're sorry for this, but unfortunately it was the only way we could keep WorldTradeForum.com up and running and we hope you enjoy our site so much that a few lost post wont matter to you.

You can post your posts again, if they follow our rules that is. The forum rules can be found here if you need to read them again.

Since people have problems following the rule about not bumping your topic, and since some spammers post their own ads as replys to other users posts we've limited the possibilities to reply to topics in the free ad part of our forum. We're sorry for that, but we had to since people clearly not follow the rules……

We would also like to remember people that the rules of the forum also apply to the blogs you can setup. By violating the rules in your blog you could have all your forum posts removed too, so please try to follow the rules.

Xavier Media, the owners of this site, just launched a new forum at WebWorld.nu where you can post ads for free and market your products and services (similar to what you can do at this site ).

The forum will be similar to the one found here at WorldTradeForum.com, but some different features will be launched at WebWorld.nu just to make the two sites a little bit different from each other. We've just upgraded our blog to WordPress and the amazing thing is that we actually managed to convert the look of phpBB (the forum) to the new blog This way the site will look the same no matter if you're in the blog or in the forum part.

All posts where successfully converted into WordPress and we even managed to get the first post on the main page so there's still a connection between the blog and the rest of the site.

To develop this site even more we're doing a little bit of research on other marketing forums and blogs, so feel free to let us know of any forums or blogs you've found where you can market your services and products (free posting forums etc). If you're helping us on this we will give you a couple of links to your sites or affiliate programs as thank you.

We've reactivated our Introduction forum where new members can post a hello and old members can wish them welcome to World Trade Forum . This is good news since it's a to get to know new people.

We've also created a new forum called "Misc blatant posts" where you can post any kind of posts you like. All posts are cleared every 10th minute so don't post any real ads there because no one will see them

The new forum is mainly created to reduce the spam in our other forums, because it looks like spammers choose the first available forum to spam in
